Every year, an Idaho snowmobile club hosts ISSA's convention in their community, held the month of October. As most of you know, it is always a great experience and enjoyable weekend for all! This is when we do our board and general meetings, and is a great opportunity for your club to show off your community, and make some money for your club.

2015 Convention 


The 2015 ISSA State Convention was hosted by the Boise Snowmobile Club on Oct 30-31st at the Red Lion Downtowner in Boise. The General Session started on Friday afternoon followed by an evening Meet & Greet with an appetizer buffet and visiting vendor booths. 


On Saturday there was a full slate of informative workshops along with the ISSA General Meeting. A total of 145 members and dignitaries were in attendance for the two day event. There were 15 vendors who filled the Ballroom and outside lot. The main attractions were the Tucker Sno-Cat Groomer and the Vintage sleds. Thanks to John Meilicke and Gary Cveich for bringing these to Convention.


On Saturday evening a Western Style BBQ Buffet was served followed by the raffle and a host of Halloween entertainment.


The evening closed with the presentation of ISSA Awards. Those receiving awards were Boise Snowmobile Club for Outstanding Club of the Year-Kenny Ray Richey Jr. President. Groomer of the Year went to Greg Davis & Dan Butrick-Boise Snowmobile Club. Lauren Frei-was awarded a lifetime membership with the Hall of Fame Award-Lewis & Clark Sno-Drifters. Youth of the Year Award went to-Madilynn Abramowski-Magic Valley Snowmobile Club.  Family of the Year Award went to-Thad & Kendra Hull-Magic Valley Snowmobile Club and the Snowmobiler of the Year Award went to Bryan Baird-Sawtooth Snowmobile Club. Congratulations to each of you for your exemplary dedication and hard work.


Past ISSA Presidents John Hazeltine, Tom Glass, and Pat Minegar (also past BSC President) and Doyal Barney were honored for their continued dedication to ISSA. Each was presented a Certificate of Appreciation for their steadfast involvement and support of ISSA.


A huge thank you goes to the Boise Snowmobile Club for hosting a superb Convention.
